· Position: ADM Approved Sr. Buildings / Structural Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• · Must have an overall 3-5 years of experience out of which at least 3 years should be with an Engineering team of UAE in analysis, design, detailing structures related to Building (midrise to high rise RCC, SS, post-tension, structures), Industrial Warehouses, Infrastructure Utilities, liaising and dealing with cross functional team, attending Authorities Technical Clarification meeting, obtaining approval.

· · Well versed with Abu Dhabi Municipality Structural related Authority regulations

• Excellent user of Structural Analysis and Design software (e.g. ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, etc.…) and Revit & AutoCAD.
• Familiar with International Codes of Practice for Structural Design as well as Authorities rules and regulations.Trakhees Gray Card .
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
• Ability to review civil / structural shop drawing as well as material submittals.
• Site inspections
• Must be goal orientated.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be proactive and energetic.
• Must be flexible and creative.

Requirements

• · · Sound knowledge and in depth understanding of Seismic Design, Wind Load Analysis, Wind Tunnel analysis
• · · Broad technical understanding of villas, building project sub-disciplines.
• · · Proficient in using CAD, Staad, ETABS, SAFE, Tekla, Prokon, Idea Statica
• · · Ability to handle, review and respond to Contractor Structural related Submittals, RFI, SCR, MSS, MS.
• · Other Skills: (can be plus, not mandatory):
• · · Ability to effectively communicate (English mandatory, Arabic can be plus not mandatory) at all levels including external stakeholder.
• · · Excellent interpersonal skills, with high competency in listening and communicating.
• · · Time management ability, competence in prioritizing tasks and workload, ability to work in fast paced Project Environment
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
